Toad in the Hole

Ingridients:

1 Cup All purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk 2 tbsp melted butter 2 eggs, beaten 1 tbsp oil (vegetable, olive, I don’t really care) any type and amount of sausage you like

Making batter

  1. whisk together the flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. add the milk, melted butter and eggs
  3. beat until the batter is smooth and has the consistency of whipping cream
  4. let it sit for 30 mins ~ 1 hour

Saussage

  1. pre-heat the oven with to 430f
  2. heat oil in a skillet and brown the saussage
  3. pour batter over saussage. if your skillet is not oven-safe, put the saussage to a oven-safe container
  4. bake at 390f about 20 - 30 mins

Onion Gravy

Ingridients:

1 onion 1 garlic clove 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce or any substitue 2 cup beef stock 1/2 tsp sugar Salt&peper for taste 1tbsp oil 1 pinch flour

Steps

  1. cut onions into slices
  2. add oil to skillet
  3. cook onions to golden brown
  4. cut garlic gloves and add them to the skillet
  5. add flour, cook and stir
  6. add sauce and stir
  7. add beef stock and stir
  8. stir til how thick you want
