The lunar new year break was longer than I expected. I spent all the time in my apartment and barely go outside. I usually play the games from morning to 2pm. Then I would either read or play Ring Fit Adventure in the afternoon, and a movie or another gaming session for the night. It was peaceful until I watched a monitor review video on YouTube. This video shown me an affordable 27 inches 4K resolution monitor, and I didn’t resist the urge to buy it. The monitor arrived the next day. I was thrilled to upgrade my monitor because of the size and higher resolution, but I forgot to check the video input cable. HDMI 2.0 or DP 1.2 is required to reach 4K resolution in 60Hz refresh rate. My laptop’s graphic card supports 4K output, but the processor doesn’t. In other words, I could only use 1080P on a 4K monitor. It made the graphics blurry, and I hated it. I tried a HDMI to DP converter, but it only supports 1080P 60Hz at most. Therefore, it only led to upgrade my gaming device. I bought a brand new Lenovo Legion Desktop. i7, RTX2060, 512 GB SSD and everything, because I didn’t want to return my new cool monitor. The new desktop broke my budget, but I could still manage to afford it. I’ve been saving money for a desktop all the time. Then I sold my old monitor online. The red pocket I collect was a good extra income to pay the bills too.

I bought KFC’s Wow membership card. It provides several coupons and free delivery. I only bought two weeks for a taste on the chicken, so I used all coupons in the break. The free delivery was a trick. The usual delivery fee was 9 yuan, and the membership costs 9.9 yuan. It sounded like that only 2 delivery could earn me back the benefits, but I did not think so. The membership cost should be split to every delivery. 2 deliveries are 4.95 yuan for each. 3 deliveries are 3.3 yuan for each. Yes, buying more means the delivery fees would be cheaper, but it would never be free.

Ring Fit Adventure was a nice work out for me.
